The kit contains selected emergency medicines and a step‑by‑step guidance system, which can only be unlocked and directed by AMK personnel when early support is needed while waiting for an ambulance.
The solution is currently being tested in Møre og Romsdal, Vestfold, and Telemark, in close cooperation with regional health authorities.
“We want to contribute to better preparedness wherever we can. Testing a solution that gives AMK an extra tool in situations with waiting time, while also providing health authorities with experience from an industrial environment, is a natural step for us,” says Nina MM Lødøen, HR/HSE Manager at Larsnes Mek.
The 113KIT is placed in the guard cabin at the company’s main gate, open weekdays between 07:25 and 15:45.
Aidency, the Ålesund‑based company behind 113KIT, praises local businesses for their involvement:
“Pilot users in different environments give health authorities a broader basis for assessing how the solution works in practice. We are fortunate to have companies like Larsnes Mek contributing to the best possible preparedness,” says Trond Lauritsen, CEO of Aidency.
